The SBAC empowers the small business community by bringing stakeholders together to speak with a unified\, and strong voice.\n\nElliot serves on the Board of Directors for Kids Above All\, an organization that's mission includes protecting\, healing and educating children and families so they can build better lives. Elliot is the former Board Chair of the organization. Elliot has also served on the Board of Youth Conservation Corp.\, the YMCA Alliance Board and Youth Communications. He served on the Editorial Board of the Chicago Bar Association and on the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Section of the CBA.\n\nElliot received his law degree from the University of Dayton. In law school\, he received the University of Dayton School of Law Pro Bono Publico Service Award. Elliot graduated from Bradley University with a degree in sociology and criminal justice. He obtained a minor in history.\n\nElliot is a partner at the firm Korey Richardson LLP.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTopic: \n\nElliot will be discussing the efforts made to enact policies and pass legislation that will help small businesses recover from the pandemic and thrive in the future. He will discuss property taxes\, workforce development and other issues of importance to Illinois' small business community and the state. Elliot will discuss the Back to Business grants and the status of other programs designed to provide relief to struggling small businesses.
